How Many Hours Does IHSS Authorize?

• Severely impaired recipients: up to 283 hours per month

As a family caregiver employed through IHSS, you're an employee of the state for tax purposes. You'll receive W-2s, accrue overtime protections, and may qualify for employer-sponsored health benefits depending on your county.

The CFCO Trap for Married Couples
